Answers to your lead retrieval questions
The LeadKey is a battery-powered, hand-held badge reader. With it, you are able to scan badge barcodes and collect leads.
The LeadPod Pro is an app-based scanning system which allows you to collect leads via your mobile device. It is available for both Android and Apple devices. The LeadPod Pro app features a higher level of lead customization than the LeadKey device.
For more information on these two devices visit the Expo Logic's Lead Retrieval page.
Expo Logic offers a password protected, personal, online portal where an exhibitor can access and download their collected leads. All leads scanned via the LeadPod Pro app are available immediately upon syncing the app.
All leads scanned by a LeadKey device are uploaded after the device has been returned to the onsite event Expo Logic staff member.
All collected leads are accessible through the online portal for 90 days after the close of the event.
Our lead retrieval system captures any information provided upon registration from the event's show management. It will always include a first and last name along with a badge number; however, other fields, such as company, title, email address, and phone number, can vary by event.
LeadKey Device delivery is an additional service where an Expo Logic staff member will deliver your device directly to your exhibit hall booth. This option has an associated service fee and must be scheduled 2 weeks prior to the event start date.
This does not include a device pick-up service and all devices must be returned to an Expo Logic staff member at the conclusion of the event.
Not all events offer LeadKey Device delivery. To determine if delivery is available and/or to schedule device delivery please complete a LeadKey Device Delivery Request.
For an add-on fee, Expo Logic offers exhibitors the ability to attach additional data to specific leads by adding unique custom qualifiers. Custom qualifiers are scannable barcodes created within the leads portal and are compatible with both the LeadKey Device and the LeadPod Pro app.
For example instead of a generic qualifier such as "Lead scanned by device" a custom qualifer can be added that labels the data as "Jennifer's leads" etc.
There are no limits to how many custom qualifers can be created however all qualifers are limited to 25 characters (including spaces). Any data collected through custom qualifiers is available for download through the online portal. If you would like to have custom qualifers be added to your order, please make a request here.
All LeadKey devices must be returned to a member of Expo Logic staff at the close of the event. If an exhibitor does not return their device a lost device fee may be charged. To report a device not returned, damadged, or lost please complete a damaged device report.
LeadKey devices are about the size of a novelty keychain. They measure 2.5 inches long, by 1.5 inches wide, by 0.5 inches deep.
LeadKey devices are limited to scanning 1-dimensional, linear barcodes - such as UPC-style barcodes. The LeadPod Pro app is capable of scanning 1-dimensional barcodes as well as 2-dimmensional barcodes - such as Aztec, QR, and PDF417 codes.
Yes! Expo Logic offers the ability to add custom surveys to those leads being scanned by the LeadPod Pro app only. Unlike custom qualifiers, a survey builder is available to create unique questions such as rating scales, multi-select, or short response. There is an associated fee to add custom surveys. If you would like to add them to your order, please make a request here.
